(SNews) – House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy responded to Elon Musk’s release of the “Twitter Files” by warning that subpoenas loom for all 51 intelligence agents who tried to shut down the Hunter Biden laptop story.
When the “Laptop from Hell” story first emerged in the run-up to the 2020 election, 51 intel officials signed a letter falsely claiming the reports were part of a “Russian disinformation” campaign.
It has since been found that this letter was itself “disinformation” and was produced by the intelligence community to protect Democrat President Joe Biden’s election campaign.
Appearing on Fox News, McCarthy issued a warning, saying:
“This is egregious what we are finding.
“Those 51 intel agents that signed a letter that said the Hunter Biden information was all wrong — was Russia collusion — many of them have a security clearance.
“We are going to bring them before committee, we are going to subpoena them before committee.
“Why did they sign it? Why did they lie to the American public? A Clapper, a Brennan?
“Why did you use the reputation that America was able to give to you more information, but use it for a political purpose and lie to the American public?”
The warning from McCarthy comes as Elon Musk has been publishing internal communications from Twitter before he bought the company.
The “Twitter Files” exposed collusion between Big Tech and the Democrats, “the Biden team,” and America’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
The bombshell files show a conspiracy to censor the American people, control the narrative, sway elections, and silence a sitting president.
