BREAKING: Top Dem Resignation BOMBSHELL – The Proof Is OUT

(Slay News) – Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has fired back at Lori Lightfoot after the far-left Chicago mayor overreacted to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade.

Despite words in the leaked opinion that directly contradict her fear-mongering, Lightfoot inaccurately claimed the SCOTUS decision is an attack against “the LGBTQ+ community.”

“To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next,” the mayor said.

“This moment has to be a call to arms.

“We will not surrender our rights without a fight—a fight to victory!”

Enter Lauren Boebert, who said: “Lori Lightfoot just issued a ‘call to arms’ to her fellow radicals directly on Twitter.

“While people are being slain in her streets on a daily basis, all she can worry about is endangering more lives with her reckless words.

“Shame on her. She should resign.”

Mayor Lightfoot said earlier:

“Fundamentally, it reaffirms Chicago as a welcoming city, a city that doesn’t discriminate, and a city that’s going to stand with women.

“If you look around Chicago, we’ve got a number of states that have the so-called trigger laws that would ban abortion upon the reverse of Roe.

“So we’ve seen a substantial increase already.

“And we’re expecting, frankly, an explosion of new cases from women in Wisconsin, Missouri, potentially Michigan, Indiana.

“I think the list is long.

“And Chicago is going to be an oasis in the Midwest, and we’ve got to be ready.

“So this is a start and not an ending, but it is absolutely a time for us to rally together and make sure that we are reunited and not turning back the clock on women’s lives.

“Our democracy is imperiled when people believe, for whatever reason, that they have the right to take up arms or violence against people with whom they disagree.

“What we can do is rally and organize and use the tools of our democracy to make sure that we’re safeguarding the rights of all of us.

“That’s why this Justice For All Pledge is so critically important for us as a city.

From Fox News:

Yet Alito’s draft opinion explicitly states that it would not impact Griswold or Obergefell or Loving. Alito notes that Roe cites Griswold, and that supporters of Roe cite Obergefell to defend the abortion precedent.

“What sharply distinguishes the abortion right from the rights recognized in the cases on which Roe and [the 1992 case Planned Parenthood v. Casey] rely is something that both those decisions acknowledged:

Abortion destroys what those decisions call ‘potential life’ and what the law at issue in this case regards as the life of an ‘unborn human being,’” Alito wrote.

“None of the other decisions cited by Roe and Casey involved the critical moral question posed by abortion,” the justice added.

“They do not support the right to obtain an abortion, and by the same token, our conclusion that the Constitution does not confer such a right does not undermine them in any way.”
