(Big League Politics) – Despite widespread backlash from conservatives, Twitter still refuses to let up on politically-motivated censorship as the election approaches. They have suspended US Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan for nothing more than celebrating the effectiveness of the new border wall.
The Federalist obtained exclusive screenshots showing that Morgan “violated” Twitter’s policies on “hateful conduct”:
Twitter responded to the suspension by telling The Federalist: “You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.” This, as you can tell, is simply a carbon copy of the explanation they gave to Mark Morgan and does not address exactly how the offending tweet promotes violence, threatens, or harasses.
On Wednesday Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey testified before the US Senate after being issued a subpoena over the Big Tech giant’s censorious, monopolistic practices. It did not go well for him:
Dorsey told Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) that anyone can now share the Hunter Biden stories from the New York Post on his platform. Individuals on Twitter soon went on Twitter to prove in real time that he was lying.
Other clips from Dorsey’s appearance before the Senate are not much better, as the disheveled tech CEO fluttered in the limelight.
Once Trump wins his second term, it’s time for him and his administration to get serious against Big Tech.
