(Slay News) – Bill O’Reilly put Liz Cheney on notice over her place in history saying that most Americans won’t remember the Jan. 6 hearings which he called “entertainment.”
Bill said: “It’s entertainment, I guess. As far as history is concerned, it’s nothing. Nobody will remember it. It was obviously put into place to try to come up with something to embarrass Donald Trump or ruin Donald Trump. It has failed.
“This subpoena play for Trump, it’s going nowhere. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it. The GOP will take the House, and that’ll be the end of January 6.
“A week before the election the January 6 committee will issue a report that says Trump did everything:
“Trump was invisible.
“He was in the Capitol.
“Nobody saw him but he broke windows.
O’Reilly has a new book coming out called Killing the Legends: The Lethal Danger of Celebrity.
The book is about the downside of fame and celebrity as told through the lives of Elvis Presley, John Lennon and Muhammad Ali.
“All three of these men: Elvis Presley, John Lennon and Muhammad Ali, directly influence how we live today,” O’Reilly said.
“Their fame destroyed them. That is the theme of the book.”
As for Trump’s subpoena, most lawyers agree with O’Reilly but Trump does what he wants and according to two media reports, Trump may appear if it is a live hearing.
NYT correspondent Michael Schmidt said:
“Since it became public that the House select committee planned to subpoena Trump for his testimony, the former president has been telling aides he favors doing so, so long as he gets to do so live, according to a person familiar with his discussions.”
Maggie Haberman said:
“In terms of the subpoena, for him, that is actually one of the things that has animated him.
“He’s been talking to advisers about how, you know, he would consider testifying if they would air it live, which is also not surprising…it seems hard to imagine the committee would go for that.”
Now comes word that the airlines will be price gouging over the holiday travel season. And why not? The Department of Transportation, led by the always energetic Pete Buttigieg, lets the plane companies do pretty much what they want. https://t.co/ZBk6IqwTA2

In the past, Joe Biden presented himself as a regular guy with blue-collar sensibilities. Joe from Scranton. Lunch pail Joe.
Well, those days are long gone. Now the President is full of praise for extremists. https://t.co/zuE95ujA32
