Just In: Congress Moves To BLOCK Joe Biden Once And For All

(SNews) – House Republicans have moved to block Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration from engaging with globalist outside forces on issues that impact the lives of the American people.

The House Committee on Appropriations has floated a budget proposal that, if passed, with terminate the U.S. federal government’s engagement with the World Economic Forum (WEF).

The proposal also seeks to block taxpayer funding of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Wuhan Institute of Virology, EcoHealth Alliance, and dangerous “gain-of-function” research.

This proposal is a part of the Fiscal Year 2024 State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Bill.

The bill which aims to cut spending on what the committee believes are “low-priority activities and programs.”

Furthermore, the bill takes a stand against government “misinformation” and “disinformation” programs.

As Slay News has previously reported, Biden has been actively pushing the WHO’s proposed Pandemic Treaty would grant the group more censorship and surveillance power.

Not only has Biden declared that he plans to sign the treaty without congressional approval, but the president initiated the plan by urging the WHO to move forward with it last year.

The WHO’s proposed Pandemic Treaty and the amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) give the globalist organization sweeping new powers that override the laws of sovereign nations.

The accord will give the Chinese Communist Party-linked WHO ultimate control over U.S. pandemic policies such as lockdowns, censorship, masking, vaccine mandates, and public surveillance.

Under the treaty, the WHO will have sweeping global powers that will give the United Nations agency the authority to declare and manage the pandemic or “climate” emergency policies of once-sovereign nations, as Slay News has previously reported.

Once a health or “climate” emergency is declared by the World Health Organization, every signatory, including the United States, must submit to the authority of the WHO.

This includes caving to the WHO on treatments, lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and government surveillance.
Under the treaty, the WHO would have the power to lock the public in their homes or censor the American people in violation of their First Amendment rights, overriding the Constitution.

House Republicans are now hoping they block Biden’s engagement with unelected globalist organizations such as the WEF and WHO.

However, the new bill must navigate a winding road through Congress and will face stiff challenges in the Democrat-controlled Senate.

It remains uncertain that these proposed cuts will see the light of day.

Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) views the proposal as a step forward.

Nevertheless, Norman asserts that relentless follow-up is imperative for the bill to materialize.

He had previously written letters urging actions to sever the ties and funding to the WHO.

His concerns revolved around the alleged untenable consequences of continued involvement with the WHO.

On June 23, the proposal underwent subcommittee markup, an essential phase in the legislative process.

Opinions were split on the issue.

But Rep. Mario Díaz-Balart (R-FL) and Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX) both support the defunding, citing the ineffectiveness and failures of UN bodies, including the WHO.

During this time, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) held a session concerning the WHO’s proposed pandemic treaty and International Health Regulations amendments.

The HHS witnessed vociferous opposition from experts and activists.

Pamela Hamamoto, the lead US negotiator for the pandemic treaty, highlighted the necessity for international cooperation in health crises but affirmed that the administration would not support any measures undermining US sovereignty or security.

Additionally, Congress has seen an uptick in WHO opposition.

Multiple bills demanding a cessation of funding or complete withdrawal from the WHO are currently being considered.
