(Slay News) – Tesla CEO Elon Musk put President Joe Biden on notice after a Bloomberg reported the federal government may try to meddle in Musk’s business ventures including hs deal to buy social media platform Twitter.
Bloomberg reported: “Biden administration officials are discussing whether the US should subject some of Elon Musk’s ventures to national security reviews, including the deal for Twitter Inc. and SpaceX’s Starlink satellite network, according to people familiar with the matter. Twitter shares fell 5.1% as the market opened in New York on Friday.
“We do not know of any such conversations,” National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson told CNN but a Treasury spokesperson said the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States “does not publicly comment on transactions that it may or may not be reviewing.”
The left and their friends in the media are not happy Musk’s deal for Twitter is going through and are terrified that former President Donald Trump will be allowed back on the platform as Musk has promised to do.

But they forget recent history and so were reminded by Michael Malice that we can’t have two sets of rules in this country.
“Not a single person wringing their hands about @elonmusk buying Twitter has ever had a problem with Jeff Bezos owning the @washingtonpost,” Michael Malice said.
“Good point,” Musk responded.
According to Fox Business:
Musk has expressed excitement about the Twitter deal despite saying he and other investors are “obviously overpaying” for the platform.
In response to one tweet that said it would be “hysterical” if the government stopped Musk from overpaying for Twitter, he replied with the laughing and 100 emojis.
In addition to shares of Twitter falling on Bloomberg’s report, the stock was weighed down by a Washington Post report that Musk plans to gut nearly 75% of Twitter’s workforce once the deal is finalized.
Twitter General Counsel Sean Edgett told employees in a memo on Thursday that there are no plans for company-wide layoffs.
It would be hysterical if the government stopped Elon from over paying for Twitter 😂

Twitter is broken. It’s the only social network where you can have hundreds of thousands of followers and <100 likes on a post.
The feed algo is either malicious and enabling censorship (aka “shadowbanning”) or is just broken.
Interested to see if/how @elonmusk fixes this.
