Just In: Senate Dems Caught Red-Handed… Wow

Must Read

(Big League Politics) – It’s no secret that there exists a massive disconnect between the average American voter and the ruling class on the issue of amnesty for illegal aliens. According to a Rasmussen poll, 73% of American are concerned about the current border crisis, which indicates a significant degree of reluctance towards opening the immigration floodgates.

On top of that, America’s polarization is reflected in Congress, notably the Senate with its 50-50 split. There’s no clear majority for Democrats to pass this legislation when you factor how swing state Democrats in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and New Hampshire are not as keen about passing controversial legislation like amnesty.

However, these obstacles have not stopped Democrats from pursuing their unholy amnesty goal. In fact, John Binder of Breitbart News notes that in the past few months “Senate Democrats have eyed using the little-known reconciliation process to jam an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens through Congress with no threat of the filibuster stopping it and only 51 votes in the Senate to approve it.”

Earlier this week, Illinois Senator Dick Durbin told reporters that he expects the current amnesty plan to grant green cards and an eventual pathway citizenship to the illegal aliens covered by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) programs, which numbers in the hundreds of thousands. However, Durbin wants to push the envelope even further by expanding the amnesty.

“I hope it goes bigger,” Durbin stated.

Democrats could get their open borders wish through the reconciliation process. In a previous report by Breitbart News, Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, who is generally perceived as a moderate, voiced his support for the passage of amnesty through reconciliation. He even hinted earlier this week that the amnesty plan should look like the plan pushed forward by the “Gang of Eight” in 2013.

“I’m a 2013 immigration supporter. You can look at the 2013 bill and I thought that was a great bill,” Manchin said to reporters. “If we had that bill then, we wouldn’t have the problems we’d have today.”

Regardless of the obstacles it faces, Open Borders Inc. continues trucking along in its attempts to pass amnesty.

Not too long ago, Biden revealed that he would use Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough to determine if amnesty could be passed through reconciliation.

“That’s for the parliamentarian to decide, not for Joe Biden to decide,” Biden declared.

According to a study from Yale-MIT, there are approximately 22 million illegal aliens residing in the U.S. This lies in stark contrast to the typical talking point of there being only 11 million illegal aliens in the U.S.

Binder added more context to the current mass migration order:

Every year, 1.2 million legal immigrants receive green cards to permanently resettle in the U.S. In addition, 1.4 million foreign nationals are given visas to take American jobs while hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens enter the U.S. annually.

An amnesty would not only wreak socio-economic havoc on working class Americans, but it could potentially create a new voting block that will give Democrats a permanent majority at the federal level.

Republicans should categorically oppose this amnesty and other micro-amnesties. Populist candidates should also do outreach with working class Democrat voters with populist leanings and make the clear case for a pro-worker immigration policy that keeps labor markets tight.
