(Slay News) – Bill Maher turned on President Joe Biden during the “Overtime” segment of Friday’s “Real Time.” Maher said “terrorists are running wild” in Afghanistan and Biden’s plan to get out was total amateur hour.
Maher said: “The Taliban are completely back in charge and they reneged on everything. They had time to plan it, and when they finally pulled it off, it’s like they only thought of it two days before.
“The terrorists are running wild. The Taliban are completely back in charge and they reneged on everything they ever said they were going to do.
“Women are back to being third-class citizens and they’re letting the terrorists move back into downtown Kabul.”
He said he was happy Biden killed former al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri but called out the Taliban.
“They let him back in.
“The Taliban were not good partners, not honest negotiating partners.
“So, look, I’m all for — I think Biden did the right thing by pulling out of Afghanistan.
“And it was a tough decision.
“And did he stick the landing?
“No. It was so disappointing why something that consequential couldn’t have been done with more efficiency.
“They had time to plan it, and when they finally pulled it off, it’s like they only thought of it two days before.”
Maher also risked getting canceled with a segment on obesity.

During the latest episode of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” the comedian took aim at America’s obesity epidemic and torched the culture for promoting not only “fat acceptance,” but “fat celebration.
“Maher declared the “disturbing trend” to be “Orwellian” and urged Americans to stop spinning obesity as a positive and lose some weight.
“There is a disturbing trend going on in America these days,” the HBO host began, describing it as, “rewriting science to fit ideology to just fit what you want reality to be.” Maher explained that Americans’ current views on being overweight are part of this trend.
“We’ve gone from fat acceptance to fat celebration. That’s new. That is new,” he said emphatically. “To view letting yourself go as a point of pride? We used to at least try and be fit and healthy and society praised those who succeeded,” he lamented.
