OUTRAGE: Soros DA Just DITCHED Felony Charges Against Chappelle Attacker

Must Read

(BLP) – The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has declined to pursue felony charges against the man who attacked comedian Dave Chappelle last month.

District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s office said in a statement that it had reviewed security footage and interviewed witnesses, but could not determine beyond a reasonable doubt that the man identified as Isiah Lee had committed a felony.

The suspect is still being held in jail over the attack and has bail set to $30,000. But this move by the “Soros-backed” DA sets a scary precedent, with some critics thinking it will invite more crimes like this one.

Lee was carrying a replica gun with a knife, so the initial arrest also included assault with a deadly weapon. Not only that, but Lee also appears to have a Spotify profile with a song dedicated to Chappelle, in which he mentioned the Hollywood Bowl, the place the attack occurred.

From all the gathered evidence that has been available to the public for some days now, this attack appears to be nothing shy of premeditated. As Lee had feathered hatred for the comedian.

Per reports, Lee lunged at the Chappelle while on stage during the “politically incorrect” Netflix Is A Joke comedy festival. The attacker sat in the front row and attacked Chappelle during his sketch, then the pair wrestled to the ground before security stepped in.

But regardless of all those facts, the LA district concluded:

“After reviewing the evidence, prosecutors determined that while criminal conduct occurred, the evidence as presented did not constitute felony conduct.”

This marks another controversial decision for Soros backed district attorney George Gascon, who many have criticized for having political and ideological leanings. Gascon passed the case on to the city attorney, who then concluded that he would charge Lee with a misdemeanor instead.

Again, leniency like this sets a scary precedent while inviting repeat offenders according to some familiar with these matters.

This decision comes at a time of growing rift between the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles District Attorney. As Gascon has viewed to be “too lenient” on crime since he took office.

For example, in December 2021, Gascon freed a group of African-Americans who had been arrested for robbery, and at the beginning of 2022, the DA urged California to drop the death penalty for murder.

The relationship between the two offices has only been getting worse since over time. This story doesn’t help.
