(BLP) – Drag events targeted at children have routinely hidden behind the phrase “kid friendly.” Similar to how the LGBTQ movement uses umbrella terms such as diversity, equity, and inclusion to mask ill intentions.
Anyone who speaks out against events like drag queen story hours or brunches is immediately smeared online by activists. Then, as evident in today’s example, faced with intimidation tactics that are meant to silence all those who oppose or even question these predatory events.
On Sunday, an event called the Barrel Babes Drag Brunch – which was advertised as “Dancing Music and Laughs” and a “kid friendly” drag brunch for all ages – was guarded by armed Antifa militants holding AR-15s.
Today a group of armed #Antifa members came to Roanoke, TX to support a drag queen event. The local chapter of the John Brown Gun Club, an #Antifa militia linked to domestic terrorism, led the call to direct action. It is headed by Christopher Guillott & Garrett Lee. pic.twitter.com/TC1uAG7Hl8

These militants were in support of this kid friendly brunch in particular. And reportedly spit on and confronted individuals outside the event.
Antifa individuals were fully masked to hide their identities. And acted like “bodyguards” for the event – helping attendees to their vehicles whilst offering “protection” as reported by Kris Cruz of Blaze TV.

Protect Texas Kids organized a “pop-up protest” outside the venue. Then when Antifa heard about the organization’s plan, “led the call to direct action.”
Cruz would later share on Twitter that the kid friendly drag show “was armed like snipers on the 3rd floor of the parking garage.”
Here was an account of the event according to Blaze TV’s Sara Gonzalez: “Aside from the children present, there were some safety concerns. The staff admitted they were violating fire code & over capacity.”
Gonzalez also reported there were 20 kids in attendance, and that minors were given a “wristband that said, ‘drinking age verified.’” She would also note that police were called about the various event issues but refused to respond.
