(Slay News) – Fox News star Sean Hannity is calling for Congress to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Democrat President Joe Biden from office.
The calls come as Biden stumbles and flubs through his most recent trip to the Middle East.
“Biden’s trip has gone so poorly,” Hannity said before taking a swipe at Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).
Hannity then said the Democrats like Schiff don’t want Biden in the White House anymore.
The anchor then quoted a post from Schiff mocking Biden for caving to Saudia Arabia as proof the Democrats are souring on Biden.
“One fist pump is worth a thousand words,” Schiff said of Biden’s controversial warm greeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Hannity continued: “Yet another rough week for team Biden as the president’s blunders abroad, that was just the latest in a long string of struggles, revealing once again Biden is weak, he is frail, he is decrepit, he is not up to the job and this country should be seriously considering the 25th amendment.”
He played a montage video of Biden, including a clip of him snapping at a reporter over questions about his record l0w polling.
“Yeah look at the polls, Jack,” Hannity said.
“Just another reason why more Democrats are looking for someone other than Biden with over 60% not wanting Biden to run in 2024.
“This week Biden inflation hit yet the highest number ever another 40 plus year high at 9.1%.
“Like I’ve been saying everything you buy at every store you go to is costing you more food bank lines are now longer than ever with Americans now overwhelmed by surging prices at the grocery store.”
From The Hill:
President Biden on Wednesday downplayed the significance of new data showing annual inflation reached its highest level in decades in June, arguing the report was outdated because of recent drops in gas prices.
“While today’s headline inflation reading is unacceptably high, it is also out-of-date,” Biden said in a statement. “Energy alone comprised nearly half of the monthly increase in inflation. Today’s data does not reflect the full impact of nearly 30 days of decreases in gas prices, that have reduced the price at the pump by about 40 cents since mid-June.”
“Those savings are providing important breathing room for American families. And, other commodities like wheat have fallen sharply since this report,” Biden added.
The president was responding to the consumer price index (CPI), issued by the Department of Labor, which showed inflation rose to 1.3 percent in June and 9.1 percent over the past 12 months. The report was released as Biden landed in Israel for a four-day Middle East trip.
Economists expected monthly inflation to hit roughly 1 percent in June after prices rose 1 percent in May and 8.8 percent annually after reaching 8.6 percent that month. Annual inflation reached the highest rate in June since November 1981.
