(SNews) – Country music superstar John Rich scored a huge win in a lawsuit against a concert promoter over vaccine mandates. The promoter sued Rich after the singer canceled a performance at a venue that altered its policy regarding unvaccinated attendees during the pandemic.
But Rich won in court. Rich took to Twitter to celebrate his win saying he never bent the knee and that he stuck to his guns no matter what. Rich said:
“During the lockdowns, I stated I’d NEVER play a concert venue that forced fans to show their ‘papers’ for entry concerning COVID. One venue added that rule after I agreed to play, so I canceled it.
“The promoter sued me.

One Twitter user was not happy saying:
“I won’t be attending any of your concerts anytime soon.
“With that attitude, the likely attendees are going to be a concentrated group of anti-vaxxers.
“It sounds like a great place to catch Covid.
“To other John Rich fans: if you’re smart, you will stay away too.”
Rich fired back saying:
“Sounds like a plan.”
