(TStarnes) – A female high school athlete was severely injured when a boy who identifies as a girl on the opposing team hit her in the face.
It happened during a field hockey match between Dighton-Rehoboth and Swampscott. You can watch the video below.
Swampscott’s team includes a boy who thinks he’s a girl. He took a shot at the net and smashed the ball into a female competitor’s face. She collapsed onto the field in pain.
Massachusetts Family Institute condemned the male athlete’s actions.
“You can hear the dear girl’s harrowing screams after her teeth were knocked out,” they wrote on Facebook. “When will this insanity end? When will the adults making the decisions to allow males to play in girls’ sport wake up and admit they are putting girls at risk?”
Many people expressed their outrage on social media.
“Every school official who allowed this should be arrested,” one man wrote on X. “This will not be the last time we see this until we have more adults and more Riley Gaines in the world.”
