Fox News capitulated on Tuesday and acquiesced to the demand of Hunter Biden’s legal team to remove a special segment from its streaming platform. The program titled “The Trial of Hunter Biden” has been officially withdrawn from Fox Nation, as confirmed by the network in a statement provided to Deadline.

“This program was produced in and has been available since 2022,” a company representative said.

“We are reviewing the concerns that have just been raised and — out of an abundance of caution in the interim — have taken it down,” the statement concluded.

“The Trial of Hunter Biden” then was quickly removed Fox Nation’s.

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, was the focal point of a “mock trial” during the program. On Monday, legal representatives for Hunter Biden revealed their intention to promptly file a lawsuit against the network, citing defamation. The attorneys argued that Fox’s decision to broadcast blurred images of Hunter Biden in the nude, which had been circulating online for years, amounted to a violation of “revenge porn” legislation. CNN obtained a letter sent by Hunter Biden’s legal team to Fox News, warning of potential legal consequences.

“FOX knows that these private and confidential images were hacked, stolen, and/or manipulated digital material,” the letter stated.

Hunter Biden’s legal representatives have also requested that Fox News withdraw its coverage regarding a former FBI informant who asserted having direct evidence of purported corruption within the Biden family.
