Isra Hirsi, the daughter of Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, made a statement on Thursday asserting that she had been subjected to a “suspension” from Barnard College as a result of her pro-Palestinian activism.
In a tweet, Hirsi mentioned that she had never faced any form of reprimand or “disciplinary warnings” prior to this purported suspension. She attributed this action to her unwavering support for Palestinians who are enduring a genocide, and also claimed that two other students had received suspensions for comparable reasons.

Hirsi was allegedly taken into custody due to her reluctance to vacate an unauthorized anti-Israel camp at Columbia University, as reported by the Daily Wire. Images posted by Twitter user Shayoni Mitra purportedly depict Hirsi being accompanied by law enforcement, supporting this assertion.
