Trump Gets The Green Light For REVENGE

According to the latest CBS News/YouGov survey, a majority of MAGA voters believe that former President Donald Trump should seek revenge in a second term. The survey revealed that Trump had a significant lead in the GOP primary, surpassing his opponents by 55 points or 69 percent support. In addition to this, the survey asked both MAGA and non-MAGA voters if they think Trump should pursue revenge by criminally charging his political opponents if he were to be reelected.

The results showed that 55 percent of MAGA voters support the idea of Trump seeking revenge through criminal charges against his political opponents. Surprisingly, three in ten non-MAGA voters also agreed with this stance.

However, it is worth noting that 45 percent of MAGA voters expressed that Trump should not seek retribution in this manner. Similarly, the majority of non-MAGA voters, 70 percent, shared this sentiment.

The survey was conducted from January 10-12, 2024, and involved 786 likely Republican primary voters. The margin of error for this portion of the survey is +/- 4.7 percent.

During a Fox News town hall in Iowa, Trump briefly addressed the issue of possible retribution, which served as a counter-programming event to the CNN debate between his rivals, Nikki Haley and Gov. Ron DeSantis.

“First of all, a lot of people would say that that’s not so bad. Look what they did Russia Russia Russia hoax. The FBI. Twitter hoax. The 51 intelligence agents hoax. All of these different hoaxes that they did. I mean, you know, a lot of people would say, that’s probably quite normal,” Trump said.

“I’m not going to have time for retribution. We’re going to make this country so successful again, I’m not gonna have time for retribution,” Trump said to applause. “And remember this: Our ultimate retribution is success.”
