(TStarnes) – Jasmyn Jordan, a member of the Young Americans for Freedom and a third-year student at the University of Iowa, emotionally testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday morning.

Her testimony came in the wake of nationwide pro-Palestine protests on college campuses. Jordan shared her experiences as a conservative student, recounting how people had unjustly labeled her a ‘Nazi’ and a ‘bigot’ due to her conservative viewpoints.

Jordan’s testimony was part of a larger event at the House Judiciary Committee, where she, along with other college students and a civil rights law expert, addressed the issue of free speech on college campuses, in a hearing titled ‘Free Speech on College Campuses.’

“I was doxxed in a group of over a hundred students and was falsely labeled as a Nazi, a token, a white supremacist, and a bigot…simply because I’m black and hold conservative principles,” she said during the hearing.

Connor Ogrydziak, the leader of the University of Buffalo’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter, and Kenneth Marcus, a civil rights expert, will testify in front of the committee later Wednesday afternoon.
