Democratic Representative Dan Goldman (D-NY) has faced significant criticism for comments he made about President Donald Trump during an MSNBC interview with former White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
Goldman called for Trump to be “eliminated” while discussing the former president’s legal challenges, particularly referencing the politically charged civil case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James. The remarks have sparked a widespread backlash due to their strong language and call for action against Trump.
“His rhetoric is really getting dangerous, more and more dangerous,” Goldman claimed.
“Now, and his recent True Social post, it’s incredibly, incredibly scary for anyone that might be trying to work in government.”
“It is just unquestionable at this point that that man cannot see public office again.
“He is not only unfit; he is destructive to our democracy, and he has to be eliminated,” Goldman declared.
