A video recording of President Joe Biden while visiting Saginaw, Michigan, over the weekend has sparked fresh inquiries and worries regarding his mental sharpness and capacity to fulfill his duties as the nation’s leader.
“Biden shuffles up the sidewalk and greets two gentlemen in Michigan, who rush to cover him with their umbrellas — then they guide a VERY confused Biden inside. VIGOR!” the Republican National Committee’s research arm noted on the X platform.

A recent survey by Bloomberg News/Morning Consult in mid-February revealed that 80% of swing state voters believe that, at 81 years old, Biden is displaying significant signs of aging and is not suitable for another term. The UK’s Daily Mail also noted that even Democratic voters in these crucial swing states share this sentiment.
The outlet added:
“It comes as the Biden administration has been pushing back on concerns over the president’s age and mental acuity after the Special Counsel Robert Hur report earlier this month described the president as an ‘elderly man with poor memory.’”
Meanwhile, less than half of the participants in the same survey hold the belief that former President Donald Trump, who is likely to be Biden’s main rival from the GOP, is too old at the age of 77.
Furthermore, the survey revealed that Trump is leading Biden in all seven swing states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Apart from the economy, which continues to pose challenges for the majority of Americans, the chaotic situation at the U.S.-Mexico border, coupled with a significant influx of undocumented immigrants under Biden’s policies, has emerged as a major concern for voters. In the wake of his State of the Union (SOTU) address, a psychiatrist with extensive experience working with elderly and dementia patients suggested that Biden appeared to be under the influence of some form of medication during his passionate and intense speech the previous day.
Dr. Carole Lieberman, a forensic psychiatrist based in Beverly Hills, stated that Biden displayed signs of using stimulants to conceal cognitive decline in his energetic and forceful address, as reported by the Washington Times.
During his speech, Biden often seemed to rush through his words and would raise his voice despite having a microphone in front of him. The Times also cited Lieberman’s view that “speed and volume of speech can be a sign of using Adderall or another amphetamine.”
“If you look at how Joe Biden usually is — slow and stumbling — compared to how he was during the State of the Union — fiery and angry — these are signs that are typical for someone taking Adderall or any amphetamine,” she said.
