WATCH: Jean-Pierre Says The Quiet Part Out Loud…

Must Read

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre may have inadvertently revealed crucial information when she mentioned on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump’s current legal proceedings in New York City are somehow connected to the upcoming 2024 elections. House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and a group of other Republicans made a trip to New York City this week to observe Trump’s trial, which involves 34 felony charges linked to purported payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

At the White House, a reporter asked Jean-Pierre during a press conference, “Was it appropriate for Speaker Johnson to show up at the trial of the former president?”

Jean-Pierre said in response that she didn’t “want to comment, obviously, as this is related to the 2024 elections.”

Notably, the Hatch Act Forbids White House Officials from making any comments that could influence an election. In reality, she knows that the entire case against Trump is one giant political with hunt designed solely to take their opponent out of the race altogether.

“I can’t speak to the speaker’s schedule. That is something for him to decide,” she went on, adding: “Let’s not forget this is also connected to an independent judicial process, so I’m going to be really mindful, and he [Johnson] makes his choices on what he does with his business; that is his choice to be made.”
