Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) will not be present at former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial, unlike many other Republican leaders. According to USA Today, Romney finds the overwhelming support for Trump among his fellow Republicans to be somewhat embarrassing.
“I think it’s a little demeaning to show up in front of a courthouse particularly one where we’re talking about an allegation of paying a porn star,” Romney told reporters Wednesday.
“It’s difficult to watch”
