President Joe Biden’s decision to allow a significant influx of illegal immigration into the United States has raised concerns among many Americans, particularly during a presidential election year. They are seeking answers as to why this is happening. Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News host, believes he has the explanation.
In a Prager University video uploaded to YouTube in October, which surprisingly has garnered less than 40,000 views, Carlson outlined the Democrats’ strategy in four concise points. The video commenced with a segment featuring Fox News reporter Bill Melugin describing the construction of what seemed to be a “refugee camp” beneath a bridge in the U.S., intended to accommodate illegal immigrants.
“The problem is, Border Patrol sources and city of Del Rio [Texas] sources are telling us they’re hearing there are upwards of 10,000 more migrants who are on the way right now,” Melugin said.
Tucker subsequently emerges and presents “four fundamental facts” to elucidate the reasons behind the Biden administration’s decision to permit the ongoing border crisis to persist without any intervention.
“One: According to a recent study from Yale, there are at least 22 million illegal immigrants living in the United States,” he said.
Tucker subsequently proceeded to his second argument, wherein he highlighted the Democratic Party’s aspiration to bestow citizenship upon all undocumented immigrants presently residing in the nation. As substantiation, he recommended perusing the party’s 2016 platform.
“Those immigrants already living in the United States, who are assets to their communities and contribute so much to our country, should be incorporated completely into our society through legal processes that give meaning to our national motto: E Pluribus Unum,” that document states.
Moreover, it is worth noting that the party’s 2020 platform appears to emphasize its commitment to transforming each undocumented immigrant in the nation into an eligible voter.
“Democrats believe it is long past time to provide a roadmap to citizenship for the millions of undocumented workers, caregivers, students, and children who are an essential part of our economy and of the fabric of our nation,” the 2020 platform states.
According to Carlson, the objective is not solely to provide undocumented immigrants with citizenship, but to bestow upon them the privilege of voting.
“Three: Studies show the overwhelming majority of first-time immigrant voters vote Democrat,” he said.
“Four: The biggest landslide in American presidential history was only 17 million votes,” he said. “Do the math.
“The payoff for Democrats?” Carlson concluded. “Permanent electoral majority for the foreseeable future. In a word: power. That’s the point, no matter what they tell you. American workers, be damned.”
