Hunter’s Ex-Client Blows The Whistle… WOW

Must Read

A former Chinese government official, businessman, and Hunter Biden client, who served a three-year sentence in a U.S. prison for engaging in large-scale international bribery, is now threatening legal action against President Joe Biden’s son, as reported by New York Post columnist Miranda Devine on Sunday.

It seems that $1 million doesn’t stretch very far when it comes to Hunter. The individual in question is Patrick Ho, a former secretary of home affairs for Hong Kong and a high-ranking executive at the now-defunct Chinese energy company CEFC. Ho was apprehended in November 2017 upon his arrival at New York’s JFK airport, as detailed by CNN following his conviction in 2018.

Some may recall that following his arrest, Ho contacted James Biden, the president’s brother. However, James Biden clarified in December 2018 to The New York Times that the call was intended for his nephew. Despite this mix-up, Ho and Hunter eventually established a connection, with Ho compensating Hunter with a $1 million retainer for services related to U.S. law and guidance on the selection and legal assessment of any U.S. law firm or attorney, as indicated by documents discovered on Hunter’s laptop. According to Devine, Ho is now demanding a refund of the money, claiming that Hunter failed to fulfill his obligations. He has given Hunter a deadline of seven days to respond.

It should not be surprising to those familiar with Hunter Biden’s history that he is facing allegations of accepting $1 million without providing any services in return. After all, the Ukrainian energy company Burisma paid Hunter $50,000 per month to serve on its board despite his lack of experience in the energy sector and inability to speak Ukrainian. For Hunter, receiving substantial payments for minimal effort appears to be a common occurrence due to his father’s prominent name. However, the timing of this demand, following the testimonies of both Hunter Biden and James Biden before House Republicans as part of an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, is sure to intensify the situation.

Despite the establishment media’s attempts to divert attention from the corrupt family residing in the White House, incidents such as this continue to bring them back into the spotlight.

On February 20th, House Oversight Committee member James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, took action by writing a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland. In his letter, Comer requested the release of the contents found on Ho’s iPad, which had been confiscated by Justice investigators.

“In the years immediately preceding Mr. Ho’s trial and during his trial, Hunter Biden was closely connected to both Mr. Ho and CEFC. Mr. Biden’s business relationship with CEFC is lengthy and well-documented, and resulted in Mr. Biden receiving millions of dollars without providing an identifiable product or service,” Comer wrote.

“Additionally, Mr. Ho paid Hunter Biden $1 million to serve as his legal counsel, though it is not clear what work Mr. Biden actually performed — especially since Mr. Biden is not a licensed attorney in New York — aside from hiring another law firm to represent Mr. Ho.”

Devine stated that all Hunter Biden did for that $1 million was recommend another attorney.

“Hunter didn’t visit Ho, 74, even once in jail, Ho has told friends bitterly,” Divine wrote.

Ho is now demanding a refund of his money. It is not surprising that Hunter did not provide legal services to Ho, considering Ho’s conviction in 2018 for bribing the presidents of Uganda and Chad, as stated in the 2019 DOJ news release. This falls under U.S. jurisdiction because Ho was acting on behalf of the U.S.-based non-governmental organization, the China Energy Fund Committee.

In 2018, Hunter was heavily involved in destructive behavior, including illegal gun purchases and a highly publicized affair with his brother’s widow while still married to his first wife. Given his chaotic personal life, it is understandable that he neglected his client. Furthermore, that year, Hunter fathered a child with a former Washington, D.C. stripper, whom he initially denied as his own. Joe and Jill Biden, who proudly acknowledge their other grandchildren, have attempted to ignore the existence of this child.

The mother of the child, Lunden Roberts, initially requested that the child bear the Biden last name and receive child support. However, she later agreed to forgo the name demand in exchange for some of Hunter Biden’s infamous paintings, as reported by the New York Post in June.
