Joe Biden ROCKED As Devastating Impeachment News Comes Out

Must Read

During an interview with Fox News, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer stated that the impeachment inquiry led by the GOP into President Joe Biden is expected to result in “multiple” criminal referrals. However, it remains uncertain whether the Justice Department will take action on these referrals. Comer, a Kentucky Republican, also disclosed his intention to conduct a public hearing this week. It is worth noting that Hunter Biden, the president’s first son, has declined to participate in the hearing after providing private testimony. Previously, Biden’s attorney had indicated that his client would be willing to partake in a public hearing.

“If he does not show up, then it’s not going to end well for the Bidens, because we have three witnesses that … have already testified under oath to significantly different stories as to what exactly the Biden influence peddling schemes were,” he told “Sunday Morning Futures” anchor Maria Bartiromo.

“This is very serious because we’re at the point now of criminal referrals,” Comer added.

Comer responded to Bartiromo’s inquiry regarding the number of referrals that would be made by stating simply “multiple.” He chose not to disclose an exact figure.

Biden and his allies are working to resist the impeachment attempt, dismissing it as a baseless investigation lacking any grounds for impeachment. However, there is evidence refuting the president’s claims of not being involved in his family’s business affairs, as reports have shown instances of Biden meeting and communicating with their associates, according to The Daily Wire.

The Republican party leader mentioned that there has been significant obstruction from the White House and Biden’s legal team. Despite this, Comer noted that congressional investigators have managed to obtain approximately 80 percent of the requested information.

“We have accumulated lots of evidence of wrongdoing, from the 170 suspicious activity reports to the multiple shell companies that were used to launder the money and then send the ten different Biden family members incremental payments, all the payments from Romania, from Kazakhstan, from Ukraine, from Russia that were sent to the Bidens during — most of which was — happened during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president of the United States,” Comer, a cattle farmer and former bank executive, said.

After Hunter Biden’s private testimony before his panel and the House Judiciary Committee earlier this month, Comer deliberated on the potential next steps in the impeachment inquiry. Comer mentioned that the GOP is preparing to enter its “next phase,” which may involve summoning Hunter for public testimony. However, Fox News Digital reported that Hunter’s attorney dismissed this possibility.

Hunter’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, told reporters: “The transcripts of witnesses who have been called to date, including Hunter’s, makes it obvious that there is nothing left to ask, answer, say or do. This illegitimate inquiry should have ended long before their star witness was indicted for lying but it wasn’t. Now that Hunter has put this partisan conspiracy to the lie that it is — on the record and under oath — this political charade should finally come to an end.”

Hunter stated that he refrained from including his father in his business affairs, while strongly condemning House Republicans for relentlessly pursuing him in a biased political agenda and an impeachment inquiry against the president. Furthermore, Lowell also asserted that the GOP lacks any evidence against his father, the president, simply because such evidence does not exist.

“A source with direct knowledge of the deposition told Fox News Digital that Hunter “first made clear in his opening statement and emphasized throughout the deposition, Joe Biden was not involved in, did not benefit from, and took no official actions to benefit any of his business ventures.”
