Former President Donald Trump’s popularity is on the rise in unexpected parts of the country. This was evident when he successfully raised approximately $12 million in a fundraiser held in Nancy Pelosi’s own backyard, as reported by The Daily Wire.
According to Reuters, the fundraiser took place at the residence of Venture capitalist David Sacks in Pacific Heights. The event was co-hosted by venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, who is also known for the popular “All-In” podcast. Attendees had the option to choose from different packages, with the cost of attendance ranging from $50,000 to $500,000. The event saw the presence of several renowned venture capitalists and cryptocurrency investors.
Harmeet Dhillon, a member of the Republican National Committee, described the former president as being at ease, cheerful, and even making jokes about artificial intelligence during the fundraiser.

Sacks reportedly said at the fundraiser that “this all started with JD Vance calling and asking if we could host an event for President Trump. Without JD’s advice and encouragement, this would never have happened.”
