(SNews) – President Joe Biden got some bad news from a new poll that showed his approval rating sinking like a stone. Biden has never been popular and his approval numbers have not recovered from the debacle in Kabul.

But his numbers are dropping heading into his re-election campaign, never a good sign for an incumbent. The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research discovered that Biden’s approval numbers are reaching the lowest of his presidency.

Biden had an approval rating of 38 percent in the poll. He had an approval rating of 45 percent in February and 41 percent in January. His ratings hit their lowest point of his presidency last July at 36 percent.

In horrific news for Biden, the American public thinks he is botching the economy, the number one issue with voters.

Now, only 31% approve of Biden’s work on the economy.

According to The AP:

Views of how Biden is handling the national economy are more negative. Only 31% approve of his handling of the nation’s economy compared to 68% who disapprove.

Evaluations of the president’s approval overall and his approval on the economy remain strongly partisan. Seventy-six percent of Democrats approve of how he’s handling his job as president and 63% approve his handling of the economy. Republicans continue to disapprove of his job performance and his handling of the economy.

Views of the direction of the country are slightly more pessimistic than they were a month ago. Overall, 21% of the public say the country is headed in the right direction, compared to the 28% who said the same last month.

Both Democrats and Republicans are less likely to say the country is headed in the right direction compared to February 2023.

The nationwide poll was conducted March 16-20, 2023.

HUGE: Kari Lake Secures Major Victory

(SNews) – The Arizona Supreme Court has issued a new order sending a key piece of Kari Lake’s Election lawsuit back to the trial court for further review, securing a major win for the Republican.

Despite the win, however, corporate media outlets were quick to spin the news into a near death-blow to her chances of overturning the outcome of her 2022 state gubernatorial race.

As the headlines note, “most” of the appeal was rejected.

On six of the seven counts, the court ruled there were “insufficient” grounds to overrule the decisions made in trial courts, according to KPHO-TV.

There was also much crowing about the fact that Lake could face sanctions for alleging that “35,563 unaccounted-for ballots were added to the total of ballots at a third-party processing facility.”

Brahm Resnick, a “politics & democracy” reporter for NBC affiliate KPNX, made a point of posting that section of the ruling on Twitter:

However, “most” is not “all.”

The one ruling that went Lake’s way was huge — not only for her case but for election integrity as a whole.

In the ruling, the state Supreme Court found that the lower trial court erred in dismissing a challenge to signature verification procedures in the state’s most populous county, Maricopa County.

The matter was sent back to a trial court for consideration — and it could grant Lake’s team a review of how the signatures were verified.

“The county and appeals courts interpreted Lake’s signature-related challenge as applying to the policies themselves, not how the policies were applied in 2022, and dismissed her claim based on grounds that she filed her legal challenge too late,” the Arizona Republic noted.

“But that was an error, the Supreme Court said, noting, ‘Lake could not have brought this challenge before the election.’”

Lake, who lost by only 17,000 votes, was quick to tout Wednesday’s decision as “huge.”

(SNews) – House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has issued a warning to Democrat President Joe Biden over the investigations into his family’s shady foreign business dealings.

Comer warned that the investigation into the Biden family’s huge payments from a Chinese Communist Party-controlled energy company is not “going away.”

Comer was responding after his committee obtained banking records showing millions of dollars flowing from China to the Bidens.

When confronted by reporters on the smoking gun evidence, Biden tried to gaslight the public and denied the reports.

Similarly, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to claim the banking records are based on “lies and inaccuracy.”

“It’s rich that the president just stood there and lied to the American people,” Comer said during a live appearance on Fox News.

“It’s also rich that the mainstream media hasn’t called him out on it.

“I mean, where are the ‘fact-checkers’?

“They’ve gone for years now saying that this is Russian disinformation, that the Bidens weren’t involved in influence peddling.

“Then when the laptop surfaced, obviously, they said that wasn’t real, that had been compromised.

“Well, now I have subpoenaed bank records to prove that the family took over $1 million from a Chinese Communist Party-backed energy company for no apparent reason, and he’s still denying it, he’s still lying about it.

“So yes, we expect an apology from Joe Biden.

“We’re disappointed but not shocked that the mainstream media has turned a blind eye to this. But my message to the White House is, this isn’t going away.

“There are other bank records,” Comer revealed.

“There are other potential business quote-unquote ‘deals’ that your family has made with China and other adversarial countries around the world.

“We’re going to get the truth out.

“And there’s going to come a point to where eventually, the mainstream media is not going to be able to let him stand up there and lie to the American people about the fact that his family has taken millions and millions of dollars from our adversary.

(SNews) – A top female cyclist has announced that she’s quitting her sport after being forced to compete against biological male transgender athletes.

Hannah Arensman, a 35-time winner on the national cyclocross circuit, issued a heartbreaking statement in an amicus brief filed to the Supreme Court over the sport’s transgender policy.

She revealed that she has been forced to end her career as it has become impossible to beat men who are competing as women.

She wrote:

“I was born into a family of athletes.

“Encouraged by my parents and siblings, I competed in sports from a young age, and I followed in my sister’s footsteps, climbing the ranks to become an elite cyclocross racer.

“Over the past few years, I have had to race directly with male cyclists in women’s events.

“As this has become more of a reality, it has become increasingly discouraging to train as hard as I do only to have to lose to a man with the unfair advantage of an androgenized body that intrinsically gives him an obvious advantage over me, no matter how hard I train.

“I have decided to end my cycling career,” she said.

“At my last race at the recent UCI Cyclocross National Championships in the elite women’s category in December 2022, I came in 4th place, flanked on either side by male riders awarded 3rd and 5th places.

“My sister and family sobbed as they watched a man finish in front of me, having witnessed several physical interactions with him throughout the race.

“Additionally, it is difficult for me to think about the very real possibility I was overlooked for an international selection on the US team at Cyclocross Worlds in February 2023 because of a male competitor.

“Moving forward, I feel for young girls learning to compete and who are growing up in a day when they no longer have a fair chance at being the new record holders and champions in cycling because men want to compete in our division.

“I think we should hear Alvin Bragg testify before Congress, under oath, about his vision and the fact that this is wildly political and the fact that this was not pursued by federal courts and the fact that the Department of Justice passed on this.

“I also want to hear his answers about funding from George Soros. I want to hear his answers about the crime crisis in New York.

“So, at the same time like I said that you have him lowering felonies to misdemeanors you have something that is beyond the statute of limitations and is a political witch hunt.

“So I absolutely want to hear Alvin Bragg testify before Congress.

“This is the epitome of the weaponizing of the federal government against Democrats’ political opponents.

(SNews) – Legal scholar Jonathan Turley sent Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg to the dustbin of history on Fox News today warning Bragg that history will judge him harshly if he indicts Trump in this ‘bizarre’ case.

Turley said: “This is part of Michael Cohen’s appeal, right? He used to basically sell his moral and ethical flexibility. He would go all in for whatever side was most beneficial. That doesn’t make you a great witness and in fact, Bragg is looking at a target rich environment for the defense if they ever put Michael Cohen on the stand.

“But that’s actually just deepening the factual side of this case, which is very problematic. He still has to deal with really significant legal problems. Bragg is suggesting, according to reports, that he’d like to prove a federal crime that the Department of Justice didn’t think warranted a charge. That’s something that none of us have really seen before.

“So, he’s taking this bizarre case with all these conflicts into what is a historic moment, and I don’t think history will be very kind to him.

“He will be the first prosecutor to indict a former president,” he said.

Turley said earlier: “If former President Donald Trump is indicted, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg would be prosecuting a case that has been widely criticized as long on politics and short on the law.

The star witness is one of the most repellent figures in New York.

“It is only the latest reinvention of Michael Cohen – this time from legal heavy to redemptive sinner. Cohen spent much of his time when he worked for Trump threatening critics, journalists and even students.

“In John Edwards’ prosecution in 2012, the Justice Department used the same theory to charge the former Democratic presidential candidate after a disclosure that he not only had an affair with filmmaker Rielle Hunter but also sired a child with her. Edwards denied the affair, and it was later revealed that Fred Baron, Edwards’ campaign finance chairman, gave money to Hunter.

“Andrew Young, an Edwards campaign aide, also obtained funds from heiress Rachel “Bunny” Mellon to pay to Hunter.

“The Justice Department spent a king’s ransom on the case to show that the third-party payments were a circumvention of campaign finance laws, because the payments were designed to bury an election scandal.

“Edwards was ultimately found not guilty on one count while the jury deadlocked on the other five.

The jury clearly believed there were ample reasons to hush up the affair beyond the election itself.

“Despite legal flaws in the case, Bragg is counting on favorable judges and jurors in New York City. Win or lose, he would reap a huge political reward in being the first to charge Trump.

Ironically, Trump also could come out ahead politically.

“Of all the possible charges he could face, this is the one he would likely invite.

“Bragg would give Trump strong evidence that Democrats have politically weaponized the criminal justice system against him,” he said.

“A lot of these corporate guys don’t want to throw money at a guy like Trump.

So that’s what this is about.

(SNews) – Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris has taken time out of her “busy” schedule to write a gushing letter to Dylan Mulvaney, congratulating him for living as a transgender for a year.

“Border Czar” Harris praised Mulvaney for spending the “365th day of living authentically” by dressing in women’s clothing.

In a Tuesday post on Twitter, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) pushed back at Harris making the issue a top priority.

Boebert announced in a tweet that she was, instead, giving a “shoutout to all the real women.”

The congresswoman also offered some advice for the many who felt let down by their vice president’s bizarre posturing.

“Since Kamala Harris is now sending out letters to congratulate men for dressing up as women, I’m sending this tweet as a shoutout to all the REAL women,” Boebert declared in her post.

“Keep doing what you are doing and don’t let all this insanity get you down!” she added.

The letter from Harris, dated March 13, was shared in a tweet by internet personality Oli London.

“Kamala Harris has sent a letter to DYLAN MULVANEY Congratulating them on reaching day 365 of being a ‘Girl’,” London, a former transgender, said.

“Seriously Kamala? This is what you spend your time doing congratulating a man that mocks women?” London wondered.

“No wonder the border is out of control if this is what u do all day!” London then pointed out.

In the letter, Harris told Mulvaney: “I send you my warmest greetings as you celebrate your 365th day of living authentically.”

The letter was sent on the day that Mulvaney appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show.”

As Slay News reported, a clip from the interview went viral that showed Barrymore kneeling before a seated Mulvaney.

Mulvaney was on the show to discuss his TikTok series “Days of Girlhood,” which recently reached a year milestone.

BREAKING: Top Dem SWITCHES Parties – Gives GOP Historic Power

(SNews) – Francis Thompson, the longest-serving Democrat in the Louisiana state legislature, is dumping the Democratic Party and switching to the GOP.

The move gives Republicans a supermajority in Baton Rouge for the first time in the state’s history.

The Louisiana GOP announced that Thompson was switching parties in a press release.

Republicans celebrated Thompson giving the GOP a 70-vote supermajority.

According to Newsweek, Thompson was first elected to the state legislature as a Democrat in 1975.

The former Democrat said his decision to switch to Republican was guided by his values and principles.

He revealed that the Democrats’ agenda, on both a state and national level, conflicts with his beliefs as a Christian.

“Let me be clear—nothing has changed,” Thompson said in a statement soon after the switch.

“There are values and principles that I firmly hold onto that guide my decisions.

“My conservative voting record over my years in the Legislature speaks for itself.”

“The push the past several years by Democratic leadership on both the national and state level to support certain issues does not align with those values and principles that are a part of my Christian life,” he continued.

During his time in office, Thompson has a history of voting with Republicans.

He has already caucused with the GOP, even before switching parties.

In December 2022, Thompson signed GOP-led legislation that exempted religious institutions from state public health orders.

The bill was later vetoed by Democrat Gov. John Bel Edwards.

SHOCK: Dem Says Parents “Are NOT Qualified” To Make School Decisions

Democrat Georgia State Rep. Lydia Glaize has declared that she believes parents cannot be trusted to “make decisions” on their children’s schools.

Speaking before the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, Glaize, who represents District 67, raised questions about whether families are sufficiently educated to decide where their children should attend school.

Glaize argued that parents who didn’t attend higher education “are not qualified to make those decisions.”

During a hearing on school choice, Glaize suggested that some parents advocating for school choice had not themselves finished high school.

The Democrat lawmaker insisted that those parents should not be involved in the educational decisions for their children.

“I see access as a problem,” Glaize said.

“I see parents being able to direct their child’s education, and they are already in the lower 25 percentile.

“Meaning, a lot of those parents did not finish high school, could not finish their own education.

“I am extremely concerned that we would put money in their hands, that entire piece of life in the hands of parents who are not qualified to make those decisions, and they don’t have the money to put in the difference that their child would need to attend a private school.”

Glaize then admitted that her children attended private schools, but said parents should pay for tuition themselves and expressed opposition to vouchers that would make private schools more accessible to lower-income Georgians.

“I am for private schools,” Glaize said.

“All of my children graduated from private schools.

“But I am not for them if we take public school dollars and use them for private schools.

“We paid for it, and we were able to.”
