Alert: Joe Biden Moves To END Gas Cars

The Biden administration finalized relaxed fuel economy standards on Friday, yet some analysts are still labeling the ultimate version as strict and tailored specifically to promote electric vehicles (EVs) among Americans who may not be inclined towards them.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) revealed its ultimate revision for the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards on Friday, streamlining certain elements of the initial proposal while maintaining others unchanged or very similar. Nevertheless, the ultimate regulations are expected to be burdensome for consumers and to advance the Biden administration’s efforts to significantly boost the prevalence of EVs on American roads in the next decade, as indicated by industry experts interviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The government establishes CAFE standards to mandate manufacturers to achieve specific fleet-wide average fuel efficiencies for their vehicles, according to the agency. The American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers’ Association, which has been critical of the Biden administration’s EV initiatives, characterized Friday’s regulatory action as still “another policy aimed at banning most new gas cars.”

“They can backpedal to try to save some face, but that doesn’t change what the ultimate objective is,” Tom Pyle, the president of the American Energy Alliance, told the DCNF. “When you start with a rule that is impossible to comply with, and then issue a final rule that is slightly less impossible, it doesn’t change the fact that you’re taking away choices from American consumers and families as to what cars will be available to them in the future.”

Pyle went on to describe the last rulemaking process as a “ploy” aimed at portraying the Biden administration as rational: “The final action announced Friday will require American manufacturers to reach a fleet-wide average of approximately 50 miles per gallon (mpg) by model year 2031, according to NHTSA. The initial proposal called for producers to reach a 58 mpg average by 2032, a goal so ambitious that Institute for Energy Research Senior Fellow Dan Kish described it at the time as a de facto “EV mandate.”

Furthermore, the agency mandates that manufacturers must enhance the fuel efficiency of their heavy-duty pickups and vans by 10% each year from 2030 to 2032. Subsequently, from 2032 to 2035, the required increase will be reduced to 8% annually. This is part of NHTSA’s final CAFE update.

“The agency published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking last year that included several alternative proposals, and the agency received more than 63,000 public comments,” a NHTSA spokesperson told the DCNF. “NHTSA reviewed every public comment in the process of writing this final rule and has concluded that the standards in this final rule are the maximum feasible, as required by law.”

The spokesperson of the NHTSA stated that the rule is anticipated to yield a net benefit of $48 billion, resulting in savings on gasoline and the prevention of over 710 million metric tons of CO2 emissions.

“Because the government, literally, through CAFE standards, is telling manufacturers, ‘If your fleet-wide average fuel economy is not adequate, we are going to bring down the hammer on you,’” OH Skinner, executive director of the Alliance for Consumers, told the DCNF. “Shock of all shocks, the car companies react by jacking up the price on the desirable gas powered cars that hold a family of six, and just bailing as much water as they can to move the requisite number of tiny electric compliance cars that nobody wants. CAFE standards, more than any other set of rules, explains why people have sticker shock when they go to get the cars they need.”

WATCH: Dr. Phil Nearly Bursts Out Laughing As Trump RIPS Into Dems

Dr. Phil found it challenging to maintain a neutral expression as potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized Democratic California Representative Adam Schiff during an interview broadcasted on Thursday on the “Merit Street” network.

During the interview, Trump discussed Schiff’s strong advocacy for what he referred to as “the Russia hoax,” recounting how the California congressman involved his son, Donald Trump Jr., in the matter by insinuating in front of the media that his son could potentially face imprisonment.

“The whole system is rigged. I mean, it’s just a nasty system. Uh, the saddest is — I’ll give you one quick example. I have a son, Don, he’s a good kid. And he wants to help people. And they said he was involved with Russia. He knows less about Russia than that young person sitting right over there, who I’m sure knows nothing about Russia,” Trump said.

“Adam Schiff comes out and says, ‘Donald Trump Jr. will go to jail because of what he’s done with Russia.’ And it was Adam Schiff and Hillary Clinton and some others in the DNC that, they made up — think of how bad you have to be,” Trump continued. “You make up a phony story about Russia, Russia, Russia, the Russia hoax. You have the dossier, the whole thing, it’s all fake. They paid $12 million or something for the dossier, $12 million! They gave this guy, Steele, a fortune to do a fake story. It’s called the fake dossier, right?”

Trump informed Dr. Phil that he reached out to Donald Trump Jr. following Schiff’s comments, inquiring about his well-being and any potential events that may have transpired unbeknownst to him. He criticized the Democratic congressman for promoting a fabricated narrative.

“How do you deal with that as a father?” Dr. Phil asked. “Because I’ve had that happen to me. I mean, you met my son Jordan. My other son, Jay. I’ve had stories about them and it infuriates me.”

“It’s, I mean I called him, I called him up. I knew it wasn’t true, but I said. This guy, these are not stupid people. I call him watermelon head! He’s got the thinnest neck I’ve ever seen. How it holds up that head? He’s got a neck that’s about a size six,” Trump told Dr. Phil, who appeared to be holding back a laugh.

“Very unattractive guy, both inside and outside. And people say, ‘Oh, that’s such a terrible thing to say.’ That’s okay. Very unattractive guy,” Trump continued as Dr. Phil appeared to be suppressing a smile.

Nancy Pelosi FURIOUS After Trump Takes Over San Francisco

Former President Donald Trump’s popularity is on the rise in unexpected parts of the country. This was evident when he successfully raised approximately $12 million in a fundraiser held in Nancy Pelosi’s own backyard, as reported by The Daily Wire.

According to Reuters, the fundraiser took place at the residence of Venture capitalist David Sacks in Pacific Heights. The event was co-hosted by venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, who is also known for the popular “All-In” podcast. Attendees had the option to choose from different packages, with the cost of attendance ranging from $50,000 to $500,000. The event saw the presence of several renowned venture capitalists and cryptocurrency investors.

Harmeet Dhillon, a member of the Republican National Committee, described the former president as being at ease, cheerful, and even making jokes about artificial intelligence during the fundraiser.

Sacks reportedly said at the fundraiser that “this all started with JD Vance calling and asking if we could host an event for President Trump. Without JD’s advice and encouragement, this would never have happened.”

Breaking: Terror Org CAPTURES Nine UN Employees

According to a report by The Associated Press on Friday, the Houthis, a terror group designated internationally, have seized a minimum of nine United Nations staff members in Yemen. Officials mentioned that the reason behind the abduction remains uncertain, and it is probable that the rebel faction has also captured aid workers from various other organizations.

According to regional authorities, individuals who were apprehended were employed by various organizations including the U.N. human rights agency, its development program, the World Food Program, and one individual working for the office of its special envoy. Additionally, the Houthis have also detained the wife of a U.N. hostage, as confirmed by the officials. The United Nations has chosen not to provide any comments regarding this situation, as reported by AP.

The Yemen-based Mayyun Organization for Human Rights said, “We condemn in the strongest terms this dangerous escalation, which constitutes a violation of the privileges and immunities of United Nations employees granted to them under international law, and we consider it to be oppressive, totalitarian, blackmailing practices to obtain political and economic gains.”

Another non-governmental organization said they are “concerned of the whereabouts of one of our staff members in Yemen and doing everything we can to ensure his safety and well-being.”

According to a report by AP, the conflict in Yemen between the Houthi rebels and the government supported by Saudi Arabia has resulted in the loss of approximately 150,000 lives since 2014.

New Evidence Could OVERTURN Trump Verdict

Judge Juan Merchan, presiding over the trial of former President Donald Trump’s business records, cautioned Trump’s lawyer, Todd Blanche, and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Joshua Steinglass about a statement made by an individual purporting to be a relative of one of the jurors.

Merchan disclosed in a written correspondence to Blanche and Steinglass that the court had been made “aware of a statement” that was posted on the Unified Court System’s Facebook page. The statement, made by a Facebook user, prematurely disclosed the jury’s decision of guilt a day prior to Trump’s conviction.

“Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention,” Merchan wrote in his letter.

The alert came after a Facebook user stated, “My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted. Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!”

“The comment, now labeled as one week old, responded to a routine UCS notice, posted on May 29, 2024, regarding oral arguments in the Fourth Department of the Appellate Division unrelated to this proceeding,” Merchan continued.

Under New York law, “a defendant can move to vacate a verdict on the basis of juror misconduct if and only if he can prove, by a preponderance of the evidence,” that there was misconduct, and that the misconduct “created a substantial risk of prejudice.”

WATCH: Biden Interview Turns Into Total Disaster

During an interview with NBC News, President Joe Biden expressed his strongest disapproval yet towards his anticipated opponent in the upcoming November election, former President Donald Trump.

Anchor David Muir asked, “You did address Donald Trump and the guilty verdicts on 34 felony counts before the American people. You told Americans to respect the jury and the outcome of this case. You were at a campaign fundraiser and you told the room a convicted felon is now seeking the office of the presidency. You called it disturbing. What do you think the American people should make of this? How important do you think this conviction should be in this race for president?”

Biden responded: “That’s for the public to decide. But one thing for certain is, stop undermining the rule of law, stop undermining the institutions. That’s what this whole effort is. All the MAGA Republicans are coming out saying this was a fix. This was a jury that was — this was a judge that set up to get Trump. There’s no evidence of any of that. None. He’s trying to undermine it. Look, he got a fair trial. The jury spoke like they speak in all cases and it should be respected.”

Biden also lashed out at Trump’s description of him as being “weak and pathetic.” “Is he describing himself?” Biden responded.

Breaking: Top Trump Ally Sentenced To PRISON

Steve Bannon, a former top advisor to Donald Trump, has been instructed by a federal judge to surrender himself to prison by July 1 in order to commence serving his four-month sentence for contempt of Congress. Bannon, aged 70, was found guilty of contempt in July 2022 for refusing to comply with a subpoena to testify before the congressional committee investigating the January 6, 2021 assault on the US Capitol by Trump supporters.

Despite being sentenced to four months in prison in October 2022, Bannon has been out on bail while appealing his conviction. However, a US federal appeals court recently upheld the conviction. During a court hearing on Thursday, US District Judge Carl Nichols revoked his bail and mandated that he report to prison by July 1. Following the judge’s decision, Bannon defiantly spoke to the press outside the Washington courthouse, asserting that nothing can silence him.

“There’s not a prison built or a jail built that will ever shut me up,” he said. “We’re going to win on November 5th in an amazing landslide,” he added.

Peter Navarro, a former top advisor to Trump, was recently found guilty of contempt of Congress and has started serving a four-month prison sentence in Florida. Navarro, aged 74, is the most senior ex-member of the Trump administration to face imprisonment due to actions related to the former president’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Steve Bannon, who previously served as chief strategist in the White House, was also involved in legal issues, being charged with wire fraud and money laundering for misusing funds meant for the border wall construction. Despite others being convicted in the same case, Trump granted Bannon a pardon before leaving office, resulting in the charges against him being dropped.

WATCH: Fox News Anchor Hits BACK Over Blatant Biden Lie

Fox News anchor John Roberts responded on Wednesday by providing evidence to support his position in the ongoing dispute with the Biden campaign regarding their statements advocating for a cap on insulin prices. The exchange of comments began when Roberts questioned the Biden campaign’s promotion of an insulin price cap on Monday, stating that he believed it had already been implemented during the Trump administration.

Roberts pointed out that former President Donald Trump had signed an executive order in May 2020 to cap insulin prices for Medicare recipients. In response to Roberts’ comments, the Biden-Harris HQ campaign account accused him of spreading misinformation, referring to his statements as “a blatant lie.”

Roberts issued a response during the broadcast on Tuesday, specifically confronting the social media post from the Biden campaign by presenting evidence to challenge their assertion regarding his previous statements. Reading from a press release by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services dated May 26, 2020, the Fox News anchor highlighted discrepancies that contradicted the claims made by the Democratic president’s campaign.

“Today, under President Trump’s leadership, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that over 1,750 standalone Medicare Part D prescription drug plans and Medicare Advantage plans with prescription drug coverage have applied to offer lower insulin costs through the Part D Senior Savings Model for the 2021 plan year. Across the nation, participating enhanced Part D prescription drug plans will provide Medicare beneficiaries access to a broad set of insulins at a maximum $35 copay for a month’s supply, from the beginning of the year through the Part D coverage gap. The model follows on the Trump Administration’s previously announced 13.5 percent decline in the average monthly basic Part D premium since 2017 to the lowest level in seven year,” the statement said.

VIDEO: Biden IGNORES Veterans, Uses D-Day Speech to Attack Putin

President Joe Biden utilized his address during the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France, to denounce Russian President Vladimir Putin as a “tyrant” and to call on the global community to “defend democracy in our era.” This particular declaration echoed Biden’s rhetoric from his campaign, where he portrayed former President Donald Trump as a threat to democracy.

During his comments on Russia, Biden praised the Allies’ actions in the Second World War, failing to acknowledge that Soviet Russia played a crucial role as a key ally in the battle against the Axis powers, while also emphasizing that NATO carries on that legacy.

Ukraine has been invaded by a tyrant, bent on domination,” Biden warned. He said that Ukrainians had “inflicted … staggering” losses on Russia, adding: “Nearly one million people have left Russia because they can no longer see a future in Russia.”

“We will not walk away. Because if we do … it will not end there … All of Europe will be threatened,” he said.”To surrender to bullies, to bow down to dictators, is simply unthinkable.”

Biden said that the world was “living at a time when democracy is more at risk across the world than at any point since the end of World War II.”

He added: “Will we stand against tyranny, against evil, against crushing brutality of the iron fist? Will we stand for freedom? Will we defend democracy? Will we stand together? My answer is yes, and only can be yes.”

He concluded: “Democracy is never guaranteed. Every generation must preserve it, defend it, and fight for it.”

Biden Gets Caught In ANOTHER Blatant Lie

The Biden administration shared a statement on Wednesday that falsely claimed that “guns are the number one killer of children.”

Breitbart News debunked President Joe Biden’s claim, which he made on June 2, 2022, by conducting a thorough analysis of the data. They discovered that in order for Biden’s claim to be accurate, 18- and 19-year-olds had to be classified as children, even though they are not. Therefore, Biden’s claim, as well as the current claim from the White House, is false.

A report from FOX News on May 26, 2022, highlighted figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding firearm-related deaths and motor vehicle deaths among individuals aged 0-19 in 2020. The report stated that there were 4,368 firearm-related deaths and 4,036 motor vehicle deaths in this age range. This led to gun control groups asserting that more children die from guns than in car accidents. However, they failed to consider that the age range included 18- and 19-year-olds.

To further investigate, Breitbart News conducted a customized search using the CDC numbers. They specifically focused on the category of “children” aged 0-17, who are below the voting age. The results completely contradicted the gun control groups’ claim. In 2020, there were 2,281 firearm-related deaths for children aged 0-17, while the number of motor vehicle deaths for the same age group was 2,503. Furthermore, Breitbart’s analysis revealed that even when considering the expanded age range of 0-19, the CDC numbers showed that unintentional motor vehicle deaths were 27 times higher than unintentional firearm-related deaths.
